Responsible Down Standard is a certificate binding manufacturers to process down sourced from animals kept in humane and respectable conditions and prohibits to source down from living animals. Down jackets in particular have insulation made of 90% duck flue and 10% down. Responsible Down Standard is an independent, voluntary global
standard and companies can make their own decision about certification of their products.
