This lightweight down vest can be used as an outer layer or as a thermal insulation under a membrane jacket. The chamber filling technology contains high-quality duck down with a 750 fill power in the 80/20 (down/feather) ratio. The duck down comes from certified farms and is processed in an environmentally friendly manner to meet the standards of the “Bluesign" label. The Japanese manufacturer's outer Airlite DMF material is lightweight but strong. This durable material ensures the down does not get out and it also has a water repellent treatment preventing the material (and therefore the filling as well) from absorbing water. The technical, tapered cut fits the body well, and the bottom hem is trimmed with elastic to prevent heat leakage. The reverse main YKK zipper is finished in a stand-up collar at the top. The vest can be packed into the included stuff sack and is perfect for a range of activities from alpine hiking and trekking to skitouring.
