Polartec Alpha is a material developed for highly aerobic activities. Hydrophobic loft fibres resist moisture and dry quickly. A big advantage of this material is so-called active insulation designed to retain heat. It can also and wick away body moisture very well during aerobic activities. The material was originally developed for the U.S. Special Forces.
