The outer material is treated with an eco-friendly water-repellent finish, PFC FREE, which prevents the fabric from absorbing water and the insulation from becoming damp. The waist of the shorts is partially elasticated at the back and can be further adjusted using side Velcro tabs.

High-quality YKK Vislon slim zips on the sides make putting the shorts on and taking them off quick and easy. They are plastic moulded zips with narrower teeth, allowing them to be almost "folded," providing the advantage of greater and easier packability without the risk of zip damage. Press studs are provided at the top and bottom of the openings for easier handling on or the option of partially opening them for increased ventilation during activity. The shorts can be easily packed into the included transport pouch.
